Good Afternoon... Due to the low temperatures forecasted for this Saturday, we have chosen to cancel the Ham Shoot. We are sorry to inform you of this, and we hope to see you in the spring for our Spring Ham Shoot!

*** CANCELLED *** On Saturday, December 6th, the club will hold its annual Ham Shoot. (No, we are not shooting real pigs!) The TR&G Holiday Ham Shoot is always a fun time. The club will use the same format and the cost as the Turkey shoot. We will once again have Market Basket gift cards to distribute to the lucky winners. (In years past, we gave hams but, not every winner enjoys ham. So, a Market Basket gift card to use whatever way the winner wants, is the way to go!) This event will end with the traditional ADIOS competition at mid-day for a $5 entry, as it is the most popular event at these shoots. The winner splits the cash pot with the club 50/50. *** THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED! ***

On Saturday, November 1st, the club will hold its annual Turkey Shoot. (No, we are not shooting real turkeys!) We will once again have Market Basket gift cards to distribute to the lucky winners. (In years past, we gave turkeys but, not every winner enjoys turkey. So, a Market Basket gift card to use whatever way the winner wants, is the way to go!) The way the shoot is managed, is that every shooter has a great chance of taking home a prize! One prize per shooter is the limit! $5 per 15 target rounds, same as last year. Re-entries are always encouraged and increase your chances of to winning a turkey!

It has come to our attention that the Club's Spring Clean-Up day is May 3rd. So we have decided to just CANCEL this event for this Spring. We will see you in December for the Fall Trap Shoot!

You may have read in the most recently TRG Club Newsletter that the Governor and Legislature passed H4885 “An Act Modernizing Firearm Laws” saying it will reduce Gun Violence, Violent Crime and Ghost Guns. Yet within the 116 Page Bill, only 10 sentences out of 2,455 actually address Ghost Guns (Page 25 of 116)

This bill does nothing to address violent crime by criminals. It imposes no additional penalties for crimes committed with fi****ms by criminals. Instead, it mandates law abiding citizens to full registration of all guns, including muzzle loaders, enforces burdensome licensing on retailers, and bans magazines over 10 rounds, even prohibiting the transfer of those legally owned.

The law also requires a live-fire test, despite limited access to public ranges, state not owning and operating any public ranges, and establishes multiple government registration and tracking databases, including one for lawful gun owners and another for issuing firearm serial numbers.

Note: The legislature has provided NO funding to the government agencies for any part of this bill.

In order to initiate a Statewide Referendum on the recently enacted law. 50,000+ signatures must be collected across the state by the end of September. By initiating this, we are simply asking these changes to become a question on the ballot in 2026.

Locations and events are being be setup across the state at retail establishments, FFLs, sporting clubs, and public events.

We have just sent out our Monthly Newsletter via email, three different ways. Please look in your SPAM folders for it. The 3rd attempt is a new method that we will be going to for all future emailing's. If you find it in your Spam folder, mark is as NOT Spam! This will ensure that it gets to your Inbox in the future.

I know the 3rd attempt works, as I have already received it in my Inbox, and I haven't been getting the newsletter regularly... (AND I am the guy who emails them out to everyone every moth!)
