It was a beautiful day at the American Dog Derby today! Day 1 of the race went great! Looking forward to another race day tomorrow! 🐾 ❄️

Jace is planning to race this year with a 2-dog team! Come cheer him and the other teams on and enjoy a fun event!

Day 2 update: Jace did so well! He was the fastest junior on the trail today and overall got 2nd place by 19 seconds! He loved the adventure and is ready for more racing! Thanks to American Dog Derby and all the volunteers for putting on such a fun family event!

Had a great day 1 at the American Dog Derby! Jace and his 3 dog team did amazing! the junior race had a total of four teams. they run half their miles today and half tomorrow. Jace is currently in second place with the lead team only 23 seconds in front of him!

It was fun to see family and friends at the race this morning! (Scott Blackham Mary Chandler Blackham Tereena Wells Barnes Mark Barnes and many more!)

Here is a very tentative schedule for tomorrow (Saturday Feb 18).
9:00am: Thomas Blackham starts his race
10:00: Thomas finishes his race
10:30: Lorynn runs the mutt run (1 dog short dash)
11:30: Jace starts his race
11:45: Jace finishes
12:30: Weight pull (we aren’t bringing any dogs this year but Roberta Albee is bringing Kilo and Stitch - 2 of Shinooks babies!)
