RW Trophy Ranch

RW Trophy Ranch The very best of Texas Trophy Whitetail hunting! Almost all of our deer were born and bred here at the ranch. Williams

Located less than an hour east of Dallas, RW Trophy Ranch occupies 1200 game fenced acres of the beautiful post oak savannah region in Terrell, TX. For over 29 years, we have been producing superior whitetail deer using select natural breeding the old fashioned way. RW Trophy Ranch uses 100 acres of breeding pens to produce healthy, happy deer that have big frames, long tines and maximum width. We

breed using the best genetics to produce deer with these traits and a certain look. Here at the Trophy ranch, we put as much emphasis on looks as score. During the last 5 years, RW Trophy Ranch has introduced artificial insemination to diversify our program. To continue to breed for a certain look, we use only the best genetics available. Also, all of our brood bucks are natural and have never been manipulated or cut under the burr.

“Our goal is to raise superior deer for serious breeders. If you want to add tine length, spread and big frames to your herd…give me a call.”

HELP STOP THE SLAUGHTER
For those of you that are not aware we have been fighting to keep our herd alive. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) wants to slaughter over 500 deer, which have not tested positive for CWD, with subsonic (suppressed) guns in the dark in the middle of the night. The deer will be out of their comfort zone from lights, noise and multiple TPWD personnel being near their pens, which will cause the startled deer to run for their lives. TPWD will aim to shoot the deer in the neck, which is not a guaranteed kill shot. This is a very cruel and inhumane method to kill them.
We have taken excellent care of these animals for years. Like in the movie “The Yearling”, if TPWD slaughters these innocent babies along with their healthy moms and dads, it will break our hearts.
TPWD cannot show you one example of a Texas whitetail deer that has wasted away and died solely from CWD. CWD started in Colorado over 50 years ago when they put mule deer in a pen previously occupied by sheep who tested positive for scrapies. Scrapies jumped from the sheep to mule deer and later to elk and moose. It should be called scrapies. If CWD is as bad and rampant as TPWD claims then there wouldn’t be any deer or elk left in Colorado.
Please help me save these deer from being slaughtered by calling or emailing the Commissioners on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission at https://tpwd.texas.gov/about/tpw-commissioners. The Chairman of the board is Arch H. “Beaver” Aplin, III who owns Buc-ee’s. TPWD’s number is (800) 792-1112.

Thank you,
Robert Williams
