And just like that, it’s over! Beyond grateful for my staff/team, all of our dance families and their talented dancers 💗 Words cannot express the feeling of seeing a dancer come off stage with the biggest smile saying, “I did it!” It doesn’t matter if they’re 3, 13 or 33, that moment is priceless.
Watching all this planning, an idea that started in my head, come to fruition: the dances; the props; the backdrops; the costumes; the staging; the acting; and the music is sometimes unbelievable. The wave of emotions often leaves me speechless, or usually in tears (which I hate, lol) Words just cannot describe how much I appreciate being even a small part of each dancer’s journey.
The most difficult part? Keeping the tradition and professionalism of the past 72 years alive while adding to it through new traditions and technology. I truly think, “What would Nancy do?” with Every. Single. Decision. for the studio. I think she would be proud this year for sure!
It has been an AMAZING year! Thanks to ALL who made it possible, no matter what role you played 💗💐
