Jim Gormong, a Diamond Life Master(a title only 3% of ALL bridge players attain, and Jane Ann Gormong, a Sapphire Life Master, were honored at the North American Bridge National Championship in Louisville by having a session of the 11 day tournament named in their honor.
In fact, their first date was playing bridge. They apparently did well, otherwise I wouldn’t be here😀!
The Gormongs have held many titles in their 60 years of service at the Terre Haute Bridge Club, Inc. and 20 years wintering at the South Padre Island, TX club.
Family members met up for lunch before their big day! Thank you to the Central Indiana Bridge Association for their nomination.

On Monday, December 4, the Terre Haute Bridge Club, Inc. met to celebrate Tom Siefert achieving the ACBL rank of Life Master.

Jim Gormong being recognized for achieving Bridge’s Diamond Life Master. An honor only 3% of the world bridge players can claim.
Also having the Terre Haute Sectional tournament named after him for his 60 plus years as a player, teacher and club manager.
