Hello! This is Coach Lampe asking for your help... I am almost complete with my leadership training class which culminates with a community service project. We are raising funds for Everybody Beautiful, a nonprofit that works with women who are overcoming trauma to build their confidence and empower them to live their best lives. These women are sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters, and friends. I have been so blessed by this training and feel so privileged to be able to create something positive, especially now in this crisis. I am in danger of not meeting my goal. Cambridge this week for Districts! We are excited to race there again. Looking for many fast times and personal bests as we make our quest for regionals and beyond. Girls race at 12:30pm and boys race at 1:15pm. The open race (for anyone and everyone who wants or is willing to run a 5K) will start at approximately 2:00pm. The East District Meet is at Cambridge HIgh School. Let's go the distance Warriors! Finish on empty!

Scio Long Run today with this whole gang! What a beautiful autumn day for a nice long run. Practice is expected to run late tomorrow (Tuesday) as we will be previewing the NBC course at Copeland Oaks. Should be back 5:30-5:45pm. Details make the difference Warriors! Be sure to hydrate, eat right, sleep, and minimize stress by staying on top of classwork/assignments. This IS the BEST time of the year! Go Warriors!

The Warriors head to Cambridge this Saturday, September 30. The bus will depart from CHS at 6:30am. The meet will will be run on a rolling time schedule with the high school girls large school race at 10:00 a.m. The next race will begin at the conclusion of that race, and so on. The order is: High School Girls Large School, HS Girls Small School, HS Boys Large School, HS Boys Small School, Junior High Boys Open, and finally Junior High Girls Open. There will be approximately 30-45 minutes between the starts of each high school race.
There will be a grade school 1 mile race for boys at 9:00am and for girls at 9:15am. There is no charge to participate.
The Warriors are looking forward to some fast times on this fast course and the opportunity to get a good look at the place. We will return to Cambridge for districts in just a few short weeks.

Warrior XC Action this Saturday, September 23, 2017
The high school runners will run at the Malone Invitational. The meet has been moved to GlenOak High School due to construction at Malone University. Please note that the girls will compete in the Division I race to give them more time to prepare for the Homecoming Dance. The high school boys will compete in the Division II race
Girls D1 Varsity: 9:00am
Girls JV/Open: 10am
Boys JV/Open: 10:45am
Boys D2 Varsity: 11:55am
The middle school runners will travel to Sandy Valley. There has been a change to the previous schedule. The girls will compete at 10:30am and the boys will compete at 11:15am.
