Regional 2 @ CCQMA this past weekend for Midwest Lightning. We are going to take the next few weeks to focus on club races and the start of our national series and will be back in August for regional 3 at Tri-City!

Midwest Lightning Regional 2️⃣ @ CCQMA ☑️

We only decided to have Cohen run his SR. Honda car as we are trying to work out some kinks in the Lt. 160. For his heat, Cohen started on the pole, but we tried a few things that didn’t work out in his favor and he unfortunately landed himself in the C Main 😔. We made some adjustments and he won, making him transfer to the B! He started 7th in the B main and held strong but unfortunately wasn’t able to lock himself in the A, but instead was the X car.

Coleson’s classes only had an A Main so his day ended early on Saturday after his heat races. Today he comes home with 3 podium finishes!

Definitely not how we wanted to end our regional weekend. On I-70. 😔. Thankful for the in laws being with us to help, our pit crew knowing exactly what to do and Coleson knowing the tools needed to speed up the process.
