I would love to get some help for a video I am creating for Shihan Gavin. We are closing our dojo, after 30 years, come the end of next month. I, Linda, am creating a video to document the progression of dojos we have had.
Shihan Gavin thinks I am making this video to document the many dojos we have had over the years. FIVE dojo spaces not counting first starting at Shihan Kimura’s Tenafly Dojo and twice at The Church of Attonement. Funny that we rented at the Church while building out the Prospect Terrace Dojo, and now at the end of this part of Shihan Gavin’s Journey.
What I am asking for here right now is for any photos you have of your experience at our many dojos. I don’t have any digital images of Prospect Terrace, Zing Cycle and the Body Boost space. Also, the original Kimura’s Tenafly Dojo.
PLUS, if you would like to share any comments and photos of your experience with Shihan Gavin. I would love to include some personal experiences in a more expanded video. This is the one he doesn’t yet know of. I want to surprise him with this one. I know so many of you appreciate how Shihan Gavin teaches and have your own personal stories. I welcome all of those OVERSEAS around the world to join in ♥️
Going forward Shihan Gavin wants to focus on creating YouTube Videos sharing the deeper aspects of what he learned from Shihan Kimura directly. He is continually applying and digging deeper into the understanding and demonstration of these teachings. This is what really LIGHTS HIM UP! He will continue to teach higher level students both online and in person private lessons.
I’m not worried about Shihan Gavin looking at this page as he almost never goes onto facebook. As many of you probably realize.
