I’m happy to announce our first practice and opening of the dojo last May. A big “Thank you” to all those who came in support of this special day. For anyone within traveling distance of Templeton, we have a Facebook dojo group where class times and events are posted. Please search Templeton Taijutsu. (Once I find the best way to merge these two pages, life will be much easier 😊)

The dojo is nearing completion! No photos this post but the next ones will show some real progress. We’re planning on being complete by mid-May and a formal opening with demonstrations on Memorial Day weekend.

November was the last update on the dojo build so I thought it’s time to post another. Winter has come and gone and in April I started construction on the framing. With only weekends available I managed to get it 90% framed at this point. I expect that the rest will be sheeted and roofed for a weathertight build by the end of June. Then there’s the interior… 😊

I'm excited to say that construction of the new dojo is under way. While we are thankful for the use of our last facility, there is nothing like having our own place to train.

To date, we have completed the site grading, foundation, and structural flooring. It is getting a bit cool up here in Massachusetts, so we may look to April for completion of the dojo, but it will be here sooner than you think!
