Congratulations to Jaydin Turner on an outstanding weekend of racing!

Jaydin earned his second qualification for the AAU Regional Track Meet this morning in the 1500m after qualifying in the 3000m yesterday. As a junior, he continues to demonstrate the dedication, toughness, and consistency that have made him one of the area’s top distance runners.

His commitment to training, willingness to compete in multiple events, and continued improvement are a testament to the work he puts in every day. We are excited to see what the future holds as he continues to develop and prepare for his senior season.

Huge congratulations to two of my youngest athletes who competed this weekend!

Aubriella Costilla had an outstanding meet, finishing 3rd in the 800m, 2nd in the 1500m, and 6th in the 400m. Rolando Costilla Jr. also had a great day, setting new PRs and continuing to improve.

Proud of Jaydin Turner and the work he continues to put in day in and day out. His growth this season has been outstanding not just in competition, but in his leadership and commitment to the team.

Current PRs:
3200m – 9:58
1600m – 4:26
XC (5K) – 16:25

Jaydin is a junior with one more big season ahead, and after next year he’ll be looking for the right college home to continue his academic and athletic career. Coaches looking for a dedicated, coachable athlete with strong character he’s one to keep on your radar.
