🚨NEW EQUIPMENT 🚨

Newly installed Hammer Strength MTS Abdominal Crunch.

MTS stands for Motion Technology Selectorized. It applies the natural, biomechanically sound movements of Hammer Strength’s plate-loaded machines to a convenient selectorized weight-stack design.

The machine trains the full abdominal wall with a dual-action motion: the upper body moves downward while the lower body moves upward. This creates a simultaneous crunch that targets the re**us abdominis (primary) and involves the obliques (secondary).

Yesterday we visited our friends Mark Phillips and KimBurly Phillips, owners of Madhouse gym in Mableton. It was good to see our old front desk (hand built by our maintenance man/exquisite craftsman) being put to good use as their front desk.

It was an educational day spent training, talking about gym equipment, innovation, biomechanics, and simple solutions to complex problems. Mark has a wealth of knowledge in strength training, power lifting, strongman, as well as the history of weight lifting. It’s always great to visit a friend and swap ideas of how to consistently make our facilities better for our members, as that is always the ultimate goal. Can’t wait till next time!

Madhouse is located at 1338 Veterans Memorial Hwy. Mableton, Ga 30126. I would highly recommend stopping by for a day pass and checking out the amazing gym he’s built.

🚨New Equipment 🚨

Today we installed 4 new pieces of Hammer Strength equipment in our favorite color.

Plate loaded Lying Chest Press
Plate Loaded Mid Row
Selectorized Lying Leg Curl
Selectorized Leg Extension.

We chose to store the Cybex Classic leg curl, and leg extension due to the fact the new hammer strength units have a heavier weight stack.

***** Please be advised that the leg curl will be down for a few days next week as we get the thigh pad reupholstered.*****

Over the past month, we’ve been opening up dead space, taking down walls, and making space for new equipment. We’ve created enough space to add 7 new machines to the gym floor, with the potential to add a couple more! What we’ve added as of now.
