Hope all are having some good summer fun!
But remember even in summer 🥋 Black Belts 🥋 work on Discipline! Normally during the school year it is easier to work on discipline but summer it harder!
So work on it even with something many of us enjoy: Video games!

Black Belt Discipline is not about restriction, but about control:
🧘‍♂️It's about managing your behavior and choices, rather than simply eliminating a pleasurable activity.

Improving your Discipline helps with goal-setting and time management:

🧘By practicing discipline, individuals can better allocate time for gaming, work, and other activities.

🥋Let's talk about Discipline! 🥋

Discipline is all about improving your behavior and self-control to maintain person integrity! It is about doing what you said you were going to do to the best of your abilities.

That could be something as small as making sure you always make your bed in the morning or always answering Sir and/or Ma'am when someone speaks with you.

Start with small things and build up is best way to work on self-discipline!

🥋Self-defense for our youngsters isn't always just about the "cool move", some times it about avoiding conflicts that might get oneself hurt. Either physically or emotionally.

Try to DEBUG!
D: Decide to ignore the other person.
E: Exit! Move away, to another seat or part of the room.
B: Be friendly and politely ask the person to stop what they are doing.
U: Use firm talk. Don't raise your voice, but look the other person in the eye.
G: Get help from an adult.🥋

Our students have been working hard on their Black Belt confidence🥋, which helps them lead by example!
Young Mr Miller helped lead through a count in class, and because of his confidence, his younger family member knew he could do it too and lead a count as well!🤩
