Here's the deal, at Central Texas Tae Kwon Do we are a certified Kukkiwon school, meaning tha all of our black belts must meet Kukkiwon standards. We are one of the last Kukkiwon schools in Temple Texas. All of our color belts are also required to meet Kukkiwon standards for their rank. We do teach self-defense techniques for each belt rank, all of our classes are 1 1/2 hours long. We are also the only certified Haidong Gumdo (Korean sword) school in central Texas. We expect all of our students to follow the tenets of Tae Kwon Do.

After work he came in early to practise his technique before class started 🔥

A year ago he wasn't sure he belonged on the mat at all.

Same person. Sharper mind. Steadier nerves. More fight.

We don't just put this on a poster.

Every class your child trains the muscle behind it — choosing the harder thing, one rep at a time.

That's how a kid grows up steadier than the one who started.

Three things you can do this week to focus better at work.

One. One screen, one task. Close the other tabs. Yes, all of them.

Two. Box-breathe before the hard meeting. In four, hold four, out four, hold four.

Three. Move first. Five minutes of training before your day starts changes the next ten hours.

We use the same principles in every adult class at Central Texas Tae Kwon Do.

He walked in shy ✨

Last night he looked the instructor in the eye and said "yes sir" loud enough for the back row to hear.

Six weeks ago he wouldn't say his name to a stranger.

Confidence isn't built on the surface.

It's built underneath — in the small, unglamorous reps your child puts in class when nobody's filming.

That's where the real growth lives.

The bravest kids in the room aren't the loudest ones.

They're the ones who came back.
