Sometimes we feel bad consistently pairing Pete's Fish & Chips with the best private backyard skate park on the planet earth. This past Monday was an example of that putting in a monster order for TWENTY people, 18 kids and 2 coaches! But Pete's Fish & Chips never flinches fulfilling the order to the highest level with style and grace! We can’t thank the Pete's Fish & Chips staff enough for their incredible organization and punctuality always having our entire order ready to go with names on each meal for all our group as we arrive. As the owner of Skate True I have been visiting Pete's Fish & Chips since I was a teenager with my parents who are no longer here and hold and cherish memories from Pete’s that will last me a lifetime. This place has held down the valley and families for generation after generation providing memories and incredible fried goodness for 79 years! Do yourself a favor next time you’re by one of their locations or looking for a wonderful family evening and stop by one of their 8 valley locations for an unforgettable deep fried experience ❤️🐠🐟🍤🙌🏼. We had a very rad full circle moment this past weekend where for the first time ever a Skate True alum from our early years came back to us to sponsor a session! Thaxton Calvetti was a regular staple in our van and part of our groups in the 2014-2018 era. Since then he grew up and started his successful welding and metal fabrication business Thaxton’s Gates and More! Through Thaxton’s Gates and More Thaxton sponsored a Raising Cane's meal for our Friday night group and gifted a Thaxton’s Gates and More flat bar to the Bobzin boys for having the most heart!
