Coach Highlight: Cass Bruins & Natalia Loram

Tempe Junior Crew is lucky to have Coaches Cass and Natalia leading and inspiring our athletes.

Head Coach Cass brings a strong background in competitive rowing, athlete development, strength and conditioning, and coaching rowers to success at the national level.

Coach Natalia brings championship experience of her own, from winning a USRowing National Championship title to competing at the University of Tennessee and helping the Lady Vols earn a historic NCAA finish.

Together, Natalia and Cass bring knowledge, leadership, and passion to every practice, helping TJC rowers grow stronger, smarter, and more confident on and off the water.

Thank you, Coach Cass and Coach Natalia for all you do for Tempe Junior Crew!

At Tempe Junior Crew, every stroke, every drill, and every early morning on the water builds toward something bigger. Strong starts don’t happen by accident — they come from focus, repetition, teamwork, and trust.

Our athletes are putting in the work, learning the rhythm, and getting sharper every practice. One launch, one start, one race at a time.

Tempe Junior Crew is hosting Summer Intro to Rowing this August! This introductory weekend is required for new athletes before joining the team this fall.

Choose one of two weekend options:

Option 1 / Weekend 1
August 14 | 4–6 PM
August 15 | 7–9 AM
August 16 | 7–9 AM

Option 2 / Weekend 2
August 21 | 4–6 PM
August 22 | 7–9 AM
August 23 | 7–9 AM

Come learn the basics of rowing, meet the team, and get ready for the fall season.

What a perfect way to end a spectacular season!

Tempe Junior Crew celebrated our end-of-season banquet, and it was a night full of gratitude, pride, and team spirit. We are so proud of our athletes for their hard work, commitment, and heart throughout the season.

A huge thank-you to our coaches for their dedication, guidance, and belief in this team, and to our parents for all the support, love, early mornings, cheering, and everything you do behind the scenes.

We were honored to celebrate our seniors with a special speech from one of our juniors, recognize our newly named team captains, and hand out this season’s Nailed It and Most Improved awards.

Congratulations to everyone on an incredible season! 💜
