PROGRESS AT ALL COSTS
-
Alone, I am strong. Together tho, we’re unfcking stoppable! Here is our opportunity to GROW!

What’s the most over looked element of training? My opinion, recovery! Which brings me to my next question, what is overtraining? Overtraining simply is under recovering. What are some red flags of overtraining? Feeling tired/ fatigued everyday, feeling weak/ unmotivated to exercise and frequent injury are some of the most common red flags of overtraining.
-
What are some things you can do to help with recovery and prevent overtraining? Number one, I think that we need to be realistic of where we are at in life and what are lifestyles are like in order to put together an ideal plan that avoids overtraining and yields maximum results. Number two, elimination of stress and improvement of work/ living environment. This will lower cortisol levels and allow for deeper more efficient rest. Number three, of course it’s the food! All Im gonna say is keep it healthy and make sure your calories match you goals. Number four, the time and investment of self care, body work and rehab will separate the good from the great. Always.

Hopefully some of these tips help your training and help you move closer in the direction of your goals! Remember more is not always better. I dialed my training back from six to five days/ week and gained 10lbs this month and feel way better! All the little things really do matter and add up!
