ASU Dragon Boat (formerly known as ASU Dust Devils) was originally founded in 2009 as a recreational team devoted to promote the sport of dragon boating. Since then, the team has embarked on countless competitions and has been officially recognized as one of Arizona State University’s sport clubs in 2016. Three times a week, the team trains in Tempe Town Lake to prepare for competitions around the west coast: Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival, San Diego Dragon Boat Race, and Arizona Dragon Boat Festival. ASU Dragon Boat welcomes any individual seeking a great team sport, which comprises of strong discipline, determination, and team spirit. Everyone in the team constantly strives to motivate each other, to improve mentally and physically, in every training.
