When Ingmar Jungnickel, the mind behind the virtual wind tunnel ‘AiRO’, came to see us, we slipped him a coffee and sat down to ask a few questions, such as, ‘What’s the top thing a rider can do right now to improve their aerodynamics?’ If you’re looking for massive rather than marginal gains, watch it now. After that, we’d love to see you in the studio for a Regroup AiRO FIT and the unlock of all those watts.

To Rome, turn left - stop when you get to the sea. Somewhere between the blue-green of the Adriatic and the ice-capped mountains to the west, you’ll find the HQ of Nimbl shoes, where we spent a handful of very happy days as guests of the brand, made some shoes, rode with a pro, and got the inside line on the origin of the brand from Nimbl’s co-founder, Francesco. That story is now up on the Regroup Review.

Exposure Lights builds some of the finest rechargeable bike lights in the world, and it builds them the hard way — in-house, in England, from CNC-milled aerospace-grade aluminium that’s then hard-anodised for a body that shrugs off weather, grit, and the occasional unscheduled meeting with the tarmac. There are cheaper ways to make a bike light. Exposure has never been interested in any of them.

Regroup is proud to announce that we’re now an Exposure partner. We’re starting with a couple of Exposure favorites. And while our beam starts narrow, over the coming months, we’ll be adding more width to the range. Search for Exposure on our site or come to the shop to see them for yourself.

Shannon Lindner comes at race directing the way the best race directors tend to: as a former racer, with strong opinions about porta-potties. The Chino Grinder, the gravel event she has produced for the last three years through her Arizona-based outfit Shendo Cat Racing, wears those opinions on its sleeve. And we like it. Which is why we’re proud to join the sponsor roster for this year’s event. Read our interview with Shannon on Regroup, as she tells us all about the event and why so many riders love rolling up at the start line.

Freedom From the Machine - Two Sarto Raso Gravel bikes, one shared impulse – how a late-night yearning for freedom led Bill and Kim to Regroup, and the open trail. Read it on Regroup.

Giro Queen Stage — Watch Party at Regroup - Friday, May 29 · 6:00am · Regroup Coffee, Tempe.

Pull up a chair for the day the whole Giro turns on its head. Stage 19 — the Queen stage — drags the peloton 151km from Feltre to Alleghe through the Dolomites, packing in over 5,000 metres of climbing across five savage ascents: the Passo Duran, the Forcella Staulanza, the legendary Passo Giau (the race’s highest point at 2,233m), the Passo Falzarego, and a final sting up to the Piani di Pezzè plateau.

The flag drops at 3:30am our time, so when we open the doors at 6am the riders will already be deep in it — grinding through the early climbs around the Passo Duran with the monstrous Giau still looming. By the time you’ve had your second cup, the GC battle for the maglia rosa will be exploding on the upper slopes. Expect fireworks. The finish lands around 8:15am Tempe time, so settle in for the whole show.

Sierra in the Regroup Café has whipped up a special drink in the spirit of the pink jersey. There’ll be swag to give away, fellow tifosi to suffer alongside, and all the drama of the Dolomites on screen. Leave the bike at home or ride over — either way, come share the excitement of the Giro with your ride buddies. Forza!

Regroup’s Barry () has a new ride, and a question: how Factor ONE is the OSTRO VAM? After a few miles to think it out, he’ll come back with an answer. Until then, stay tuned. But keep your eyes peeled for a Barry blur in the local area.

If you’re thinking about joining a Regroup ride or rocking up to an event today, we pushed some updates to our Regroup calendar on the site that should make it even easier to connect. From downloading a ride to your calendar of choice to seeing how many are signed up and clicking straight through to the Strava route, all from the event card, we hope the new updates encourage you to come on out, ride, and even enjoy a beverage or two after miles. Up ahead, we’ve got not one, but two rides this weekend, and next Friday, a special Giro d’Italia Queen Stage Viewing Party.

Today’s Giro stage ends in Fermo. And earlier today, we were there, riding the last 50km of the stage (started with rain, ended with sun - and in the middle, there were croissants) as guests of our friends at .cc. We’ll have a write-up on the site soon. For now, all that is left to say is a heartfelt thank you to the incredible Nimbl team, especially Karen, who hosted us over three wonderful days at the Nimbl headquarters, where we got to make some shoes, and on the road, led by Giro legend and finder of excellent espresso, . Grazie!!!!!!

If you’re putting together a fast gravel build in 2026, the wheel question just got easier to answer. Announced just moments ago, ENVE’s new G SES line is purpose-built for the wide-tire, high-speed end of gravel — three models across two rim depths, with Innerdrive PRO hubs on the top two and the same aero-optimized rim width across all of them. The 6.7 PRO is the deepest, fastest, most committed. The 4.5 PRO and 4.5 are the ones that climb. We slung a pair on a Factor Sarana. Head to the site to read more.
