I had a stroke five years ago. I lost all sensation in the right half of my body. As you may imaging this made my practice difficult. I am thrilled that my sensation had returned. It is magnificent what our body can do. I have moved every day since my stroke and it is so beautiful what patience and practice can do.

Recovering from this stroke has taken everything and everyone in my life. I was not able to feel or move my right side. My reformer missed me. I can now use all my equipment! It took years but I just finished excercising! I am sweaty and filled with joy. I would appreciate any of you who could support this amazing association that works for people like me. I did not quit and am back doing the movement I love.

I had my stroke five years ago and I continue to be unable so stop shouting about the brain. I was unable to move and feel my right side to now not only feel but also practice Pilates again!

Hi Peloton, I wonder if you have water bottles that are connected to the sippy? It’s hard to drink out of a cup on the bike, so having a straw would be really helpful.

Hello everyone, today I’m reintroducing myself back into the world of Pilates and I want to share my journey with you.

In 2019 I had a stroke due to an Arterial Venous Malformation, which nearly took my life. One thing it couldn’t take from me is my deep love for movement and Pilates!

I’m looking forward to sharing my best practices and movements with you all. As a formerly certified instructor, my passion is to share Pilates with everyone and incorporate how this wonderful method of exercise has helped me with my recovery over the years and beyond! I hope you’ll join me in this next chapter of life.
