Official Announcement ✨

About twelve years ago, I started coaching people all around southeast Nebraska. I trained the bank employees, athletes, and groups of adults using the high school gym, track, or really anywhere I could find access to in my hometown of Tecumseh. Before you knew it, an opportunity opened up to start a gym.

In the state of Nebraska, each county has a license plate number and Johnson County where Tecumseh is located, has the number 57, so the gym was named 57Fitness.

57Fitness has been a class based strength and conditioning gym providing the southeast Nebraska community both education and opportunity to improve their health ever since. In 2016, I moved to the state of Washington following my now-husband back to his home state. I continued programming for the gym, and even waking up at 3:00 AM a lot of days to watch and coach classes virtually.

Fast forward to 2020, when I opened Assemble in Buckley, Washington. We originally started out as a yoga studio with maximal effort conditioning and eventually decided to go all in operating as a full gym using the exact same programming we use back in Nebraska.

We have outgrown our Nebraska location and this past month, we purchased a different building on the historical downtown square of Tecumseh right next to the clothing boutique Remedy.

With renovation underway, we believe this is a great time to bring both gyms under one name. Without 57Fitness, there would be no Assemble. However, 57Fitness doesn’t scale well to locations outside of Nebraska without a long winded explanation much like this one, soooo we are excited to announce the rebranding of 57Fitness to Assemble Nebraska, and doors to the new location will be opening early 2023.

The Band is hosting their 3rd annual Miles for Music 5K on Saturday, October 15th at 9:00am. Registration can be done online using the QR code or at the table the morning of the event. Cost to participate is $15 for adults and $5 for students. Bikers and scooters welcome!
