Some classes replay in your mind once they've finished. Certain looks that students exchange, a comment someone made, the smile at the end of class. This was one of those.

Join us for our annual Summer Picnic on Thursday, July 30 from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Tea City Park!

Each year, around 130+ members, family, and friends join us for an evening of food, games, and community. We'll provide the protein, and we ask families to bring a side dish to share.

We had the pleasure of teaming up with Tea Park & Recreation Craft Camp to showcase a Taekwondo demonstration with a few of our students. These kids got to see some kicking, Poomsae, board breaking and Sparring. Thanks for having us!

We are very excited to see Rapid City Taekwondo Academy back in action and join us for our South Dakota Taekwondo Camp this year! Our thanks goes out to the students who attended and Miss Shanda Volker who led a HIIT class for everyone.

Mr. Bobby Kooiman's "Mind Over Muscle" session at our South Dakota Taekwondo Camp went deeper into why our muscles work the way they do. He explained the science and benefits behind concentric vs. eccentric, stretching for joint benefit vs. flexibility, and how it all related to Taekwondo. We're extremely fortunate to have him in our gym.
