Unfortunately, due to not getting enough teams together for the outing, we regret to inform you that the golf outing scheduled for June 6, 2025 has been canceled.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.

We set out to celebrate Mike and raise money for his kids future endeavors; and that is exactly what we did.

We've made some changes and hope you all don't mind! This year we are having this outing to celebrate Mike's memory!

Please mark your calendars, $400 per foursome and there will be lots of giveaways and prizes! We are limited to 30 teams this year, so please sign up fast! Brunch and Dinner will be provided.

I want to sincerely thank everyone for coming out to support Mike's memory and to support our kids (and me) at the golf outing. To say I am blown away does not even begin to capture the emotions I've felt over the last few days and months as this came together.

So many people deserve special shout outs but I am fearful of leaving someone out. *But* I have to shout out John McWard (& his right hand man and woman- Drew Peabody and Lisa Peabody) at the least because this all started from his amazing, altruistic idea and he, and his assemblage of the BEST people, made it happen. Thank you, John, & everyone else for every energy and moment and donation you gave my kids.

I know Mike is smiling down at this community of ours and the outpouring of love we continue to feel. Thank you.

1 day away till the outing!

Reminder please be there tomorrow at 12:15! We plan to have a shotgun start at 12:45. This will ensure everyone has a cart and everyone is fully accounted for.

We will have the following:

50/50 Cash Raffle
Bourbon Raffle
On Hole Competitions with prizes at the end of the day
Prizes for first and second place finishers

Domestic Beer, Water, High Noons
Jello shots and Pickle Shots

Please remember to bring some extra cash to tip our cart girls. They took the day off to be with us so please treat them and all of the volunteers well!

So, without further ado:

On behalf of the Assalley Family, thank you.

We have 32 teams signed up for the outing this Friday and we are so blessed and humbled!

We are so ready to see everyone and celebrate Mike’s life on Friday!

In addition to the overwhelming response, we are a few short on carts! If you signed up and you live near by and don’t mind bringing your own cart, please bring yours. We would be forever indebted to you to do so!

Thank you to everyone who signed up, we are so blessed with this community support. Please share this post for people if they’re willing to donate a golf cart for a day. You’ll get a friendly high five and a free bottle of water from our esteemed Christian County State’s Attorney John McWard!

We will be doing a bourbon raffle the day of the event, you do not need to be present to win. First ticket drawn will get the first choice of the bottle they want and we will draw tickets until we are out of bottles.
