The Round 2 Summer Shoot Out results are in.

Tonight's racing event was unusually intense, sparking curiosity about whether a full moon was a contributing factor. Following a weather delay, Legend Cars qualifying was based on points, which placed TJ fourth initially but allowed him to start third. In the feature race, TJ successfully reached second place, encountered a setback to sixth, and managed to retain fifth place. The bumper racing lived up to expectations, highlighted by multiple cars being connected at one point.

It was a touching tribute for Kyle, with Brexton throwing the green flag and Kyle’s father leading the pack in the car Kyle would have driven this summer. 🏁

For those of you that use Race Monitor or MyRacePass to view times….

It was announced that today’s feature lineups in the legends will be done based on points.

The track was wet after a storm that passed through so this caused some conflict with cars lining up when asked to etc.

TJ was the first on time group of cars to qualify but qualified 17th. Now he will be starting 3rd.

Round 1 is now complete.

Mother Nature tried to put a damper on things by starting to rain during the feature races. With a wet racing surface and no rain tires, TJ was able to roll off 4th, fell back to 6th, and with a roll the dice by starting P1 after the caution came out with 2 to go. Unfortunately, it was still a bit wet, so he was not able to restart with good traction, causing him to fall back to finish 4th.

Onto Round 2 tomorrow.
