🏆 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞-𝗧𝗢-𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦! 🏆
Our 2012/2013 Girls are once again 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙪𝙥 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨!
After finishing second in the group stage, the girls battled through the semifinals and final to claim the title.
Susan Barnard opened the semifinal scoring with a 35-yard strike over the goalkeeper, followed by an insurance goal from Hayden Banks off an assist from Jules DelGuidice.
In the final against TBAYS, Maddie Megyesi split the center backs and found the back of the net to give us the lead. In the second half, Lily Nowicki pressured their backline which forced a turnover, and Jules DelGuidice hammered home the second goal to seal the championship!
Evie Miles and the defensive line were outstanding, helping anchor the team with back-to-back clean sheets in the semifinal and final. Their focus, toughness, and commitment set the tone when it mattered most.
