Let's welcome Coach Sarah Neal to Taylor ISD as our new Girls Athletic Coordinator and Head Volleyball Coach.

A Bastrop native and UMHB kinesiology graduate, Coach Neal has coached in Belton ISD, Gonzales ISD, and most recently helped open Chaparral High School, where she built the volleyball program from the ground up. During her four seasons at Chaparral, her teams made repeat playoff appearances every year, including a 2024 undefeated district championship season and a deep playoff run that earned her 16-5A Coach of the Year honors.

Coach Neal has experience coaching volleyball, basketball, soccer, powerlifting, and track & field, and is passionate about developing confident, resilient student-athletes both on and off the court.

Outside of coaching, she enjoys spending time with her 3-year-old daughter, Kora, staying active, and embracing every adventure life brings.

🦆 Alumni Spotlight: Lindsay O’Dell (Class of 2022) 🦆

We’re proud to highlight former Duck Lindsay O’Dell, who continues to excel on and off the field at Loyola Marymount University! 🥎

This season, Lindsay earned Second Team All-West Coast Conference honors after an outstanding year in the circle, finishing with 15 wins, 77 strikeouts, and a 2.86 ERA. She was also named West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week twice.

Along with her athletic success, she was recognized on the All-Academic Honorable Mention team and recently completed her undergraduate degree! 🎓

We’re proud to celebrate her continued success and the way she represents the Ducks. Congratulations Lindsay! 🦆
