Mustang Creek has been serving Central Texas since 1915 and is the 14th oldest golf course in Texas! "One of the finest and most challenging 9 hole courses in the USA" - Golf USA Tour. In 1915, a group of local bankers purchased 60 acres on Washington Heights overlooking Taylor Texas . They noticed the open plains and gently rolling hills looked similar to the historic courses in Scotland. A few y

ears later the Taylor Country Club was built on the same property. For 64 years the course was a semi private club with emphasis on the beautiful Clubhouse, Pool and Famous Food. In the mid 1980's a group of local businessman purchased the golf course from the Taylor Country Club. Since then, the Board of Directors, Stockholders, Superintendents, and Staff of Mustang Creek have continued to invest and improve their course. Today Mustang Creek is a challenging course with lush tee boxes, fairways and greens. Our friendly staff in the pro shop is ready to assist you with family memberships, green fees, cart rentals, food, beverages, lessons, and tour quality golf equipment.

At Mustang Creek Golf Course, we absolutely love seeing families, kids, couples, grandparents… and yes, even puppy dogs enjoying a beautiful day together on the course. Around here, family matters! We do want to apologize when groups occasionally get LARGER than they should. While we try our best to keep play moving smoothly, every now and then we get taken advantage of. We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and love for this little golf course we all call home.

Cold drinks, fresh air, green grass, sunshine, wagging tails, and good memories ! that’s Mustang Creek.

Legacy Early College High School freshman Rylen Darter has claimed the UIL Class 4A State Golf Championship!

Rylen rose to the top against the best in the state, delivering an incredible performance and putting Taylor ISD on the map in a big way.
