Good News, Taylor! The Pool is Back Open!

The pool has had its break, completed its maintenance, and is officially ready to welcome everyone back today!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding while our team worked to get everything resolved. We know how popular the pool has been this season, and we've been working hard behind the scenes to get swimmers back in the water as quickly and safely as possible.

So grab your sunscreen and towels—it's time to get back to making a splash!

P.S. The pool promises it won't ask for another vacation anytime soon.

Come cheer on your favorite "local celebrities" at the Celebrity Mini Golf Tournament!

Join us at Murphy Park on Saturday, June 13 at 12:30 PM for an afternoon of fun while learning more about the Friends of the Park Foundation and their efforts to improve the Murphy Park Mini Golf Course.

The Foundation is raising funds for course enhancements, including new greens, shade structures, lighting, signage, and more. Come watch the competition and support a great community project!

🏊‍♀️ Roznovak Aquatic Pool Closure Notice 🏊‍♂️

Well, the pool has been so popular lately that it's decided it needs a little break.

Due to a maintenance issue, the pool will be temporarily closed while our team works to get everything back in shape. We know many of you have been enjoying the pool this summer, and we share your disappointment. Trust us—nobody wants to see it back open more than we do!

We are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible so everyone can get back to making a splash.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we tackle this unexpected hiccup. We'll keep you updated and let you know as soon as we're ready to welcome swimmers back.

Join us for the City of Taylor's annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration on Saturday, June 20. The festivities begin at 9 a.m. at Heritage Square Park with a parade down Main Street, immediately followed by a free soul food brunch at the Dickey-Givens Community Center, located at 1019 E. MLK Jr. Blvd.

The Freedom Festival begins at 5 p.m. at Fannie Robinson Park, located at 1009 E. MLK Jr. Blvd. The event features gospel music, free barbecue, an arcade, art activities, face painting, and local vendors.

Summer swim lesson spots are filling quickly, and registration deadlines are approaching fast! Give your swimmer the opportunity to build confidence, improve water safety skills, and have fun this summer.

Group lessons are available for ages 6 months–12 years and all skill levels.
