Folks, if you live in KY, please read this article, as it could affect you in the future.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, according to the ATF, FFLs are to deny any transactions if they KNOW you have Medical Cannabis card. To my knowledge there are no provisions, requirements or even a method for the FFL to check if someone has a medical card. This is no different than the current Federal law on cannabis, which is totally illegal federally. NOW with the card, when you apply and receive, the State will alert the ATF that you have a Medical Cannabis card. When a background check is done this will affect your 4473 approval. How this would affect your CCWD license I’m not sure. Could the State pull your CCDW license when you get a medical card? Lots of questions still. But, ultimately, until the Federal Government removes Cannabis from the Scheduled drug list equating cannabis with M**h, Co***ne, Fentanyl and such, this new law is really a moot point, imo.
