This weekend at the Florida USBC State Championship was another reminder of why I love this sport and why supporting youth athletics has always meant so much to me.
Watching our youth bowlers step onto the lanes, compete, challenge themselves, support each other, and represent our bowling family is something that truly makes me proud. It is not always about the final score or the medals earned; it is about the journey, the lessons learned, the friendships created, and the growth that happens along the way.
For many years, I have had the honor of supporting young athletes, and it has always been one of my biggest commitments in life. I truly believe sports can make a difference in a young personβs future. It teaches discipline, confidence, respect, teamwork, and the ability to overcome challenges, lessons they will carry far beyond the lanes.
Seeing these kids start young, watching them improve, seeing their confidence grow, and being a small part of their journey is one of the greatest rewards I could ask for as a coach.
To all our youth bowlers who competed this weekend: I am extremely proud of every single one of you. Continue believing in yourself, continue working hard, and never forget that every frame, every tournament, every challenge is helping you become stronger.
Thank you to the parents and families who continue supporting these amazing athletes. Behind every youth bowler is someone making sacrifices, cheering them on, and helping them chase their goals.
I have always believed that when we invest our time in our youth, we are helping build the next generation, not just better athletes, but better people.
I am proud to support youth sports, proud to support youth bowling, and honored to be part of their story.
Keep growing. Keep competing. Keep dreaming.
