4 IN A ROW! Tornadoes 12U Sawyer took home their fourth tournament championship in a row this weekend in Dighton!

Led by strong pitching performances by Paisley Malaguti, Aubree Barios, and Charlotte Nasson each earning two wins a piece as the Tornadoes went 6-0 on the weekend including a NO-HITTER by Paisley in a tight 1-0 win on Sunday to advance the team to the finals!

Offensively, the Tornadoes racked up 58 hits and 17 extra base hits led by Raelyn Bourque, Abbey Sawyer, and Shayna Oliver. Abbey and Shayna knocked in 8 runs a piece on the weekend!

It was another great, full team effort by this talented and hard working 12U squad!

🥎🥎More great news about our 10U squad. Wishing them all the best on their next tourney in Hershey Park! Bring us back some chocolate.

🌟🌟The 10U Tornadoes had a great showing at the Grafton Round Robin tournament this past weekend with an overall 4-2 record. The weekend was a complete team effort, and the girls brought the energy!

Offensively, the bats were on fire with the Tornadoes batting an overall .353 while compiling 42 hits and scoring 62 runs.

Fiona Cantrell ( #24) had a weekend to remember for the Tornadoes leading the way batting a robust .929 going 13-14 at the plate with 8 RBIs, 3 walks, 12 runs scored and 7 stolen bases. Isabelle Dias-Martin ( #28) clobbered the softball batting .600 (6-10) with 9 RBIs, 3 walks, along with her first homerun of the season. Victoria Lewis ( #6) erupted this weekend batting .400 (4-10) with 3 RBIs and 2 walks. Matilda Roache ( #18) batting a solid .333 (2-6) with a team leading 10 walks. Harlow Sarafian ( #13) stayed in rhythm batting .333 (4-12) with 3 walks and 1 hit by pitch and Niamh Reilly ( #99) our lead-off speedster crossed the plate 10 times and wreaked havoc on the base paths with 7 stolen bases.

Tornadoes pitching was solid with strong showings in relief by Cantrell and Lewis. Reilly fired up the weekend in the circle for the win against Hillcats 10U Gold with 3.0IP, 0H,1R, 1ER, 6BB, 5SO, 13BF. Dias-Martin shined in the circle for both wins against GSE Baldyga 10U with 3.0IP, 1H, 2R, 1ER, 2BB, 5SO, 13BF and Grafton Diamonds with 3.0IP, 1H, 2R, 0ER, 3BB, 3SO, 12BF with Lewis making it look easy in relief with 2.0IP, 2H, 1R, 0ER, 0BB, 5SO, 8BF. Roache closed out the weekend for the win against RI Storm with 5.0IP, 4H, 3R, 2ER, 2BB, 3SO, 21BF.

Defensively, Tornadoes made some highlight plays in the field including a Lewis 4-3 double play, Melanie Lehouillier ( #12) playing lights out defense at 3rd base, along with both Dias-Martin and Sarafian blocking and framing behind the dish.

10U Tornadoes will be traveling to Hershey PA next to compete in the July Jamboree tournament from July 9 – July 12th.

🏆Congratulations to the Taunton High School softball team on their state championship. 6peat!

🖤🧡This team displayed grit and resilience every step of the way.

🤝Many of these girls first stepped foot on our fields many years ago and we have enjoyed watching them every step of the way. Thank you to the THS coaches for your continued collaboration with our programs and always supporting us. Congrats to you all!

🥎To our seniors- continue to do big things and work hard. We are so proud of you!
