Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) has adopted a new "Abuse of Officials" policy. The policy requires sports officials in each sport to report any ejections or incidents involving a fan or player. If a school district receives three incident reports, the TASO can refuse to provide officials, forcing schools to cancel the remainder of the season.

Parents and players:

Spectators must understand questioning calls by officials, expressing dissatisfaction with officiating, officiating from the stands, etc will not be tolerated by the officials association and can result in the removal of the spectator from the facility. The Texas Association of School Officials organization has a three-strike policy. After three incidents in which any spectator has to be removed at the request of the officials, the organization can refuse to officiate our games. Without officials, we cannot play the game. Students will then not be able to participate in that sport because officials will not come to our district. We cannot play the game these young people love without officials.

Tatum boys Invitational showcase has ended with the host team going 2-1! What a great weekend of the great game!
The boys will return to play on Friday the 19th at home against the Sabine Cardinals!
