We did it! Nearly 85 miles, 6 days, just our kayaks, a tent, and a whole lot of supporters of our save the seagrass mission. More on this adventure to come. Until then, we are back in the bay/river and ready to take you on your very own kayak adventure.

All my kayak friends; an important philanthropy for us to help save our kayaking waters

A group we are part of, the Women Leaders in Paddling, is hosting, Seagrass Fundraiser!

We are raising money for local seagrass research and education through Tampa Bay Estuary Program and SeaGrant Pasco.
Sadly, humans are negatively impacting seagrass meadows and we’d like that to stop.
Seagrasses feed our beloved manatees and sea turtles, prevent shoreline erosion, and are home to fish, scallops, sea stars, sea horses, and so many more! They also are an incredible carbon sink absorbing about 35 times more carbon than a rain forest!

🎉 Event Festivities: Local booths, food and drinks, guest speakers including Tampa Bay Estuary Program and Dr. Megan Moore with SeaGrant Pasco, silent auction, giveaways, and live printing!
👕 Bring your blank shirts, hats, canvas bags, cups, water bottles, and more to get printed with our exclusive seagrass logo on the spot!
