what is “project:BARE ESSENTIALS”?
“project:BARE ESSENTIALS” is a six-week, downloadable fitness guide using nothing but yourself. each workout is a full-body workout and will prove that equipment isn’t always necessary to get in a grueling, efficient workout. This program can be completed at any fitness level as each workout can be adapted to fit the needs and capabilities of each individual. (for any help or suggestions on modifications, please reach out!)

this six-week trainer can be utilized anytime/anywhere. the main purpose of this program is to keep you moving no matter where you are, helping to hold yourself accountable and stick to your goals of leading a healthy life. no equipment, no designated training location, no specific training time = no excuses. this program was created for those who want to bring it back to the bare fundamentals and simpler ways of training. no bells and whistles, just your body and mind.

↓ MOTIVATION vs DISCIPLINE ↓

some days you wake up ready to roll. feeling motivated, inspired, and ready to conquer the world. and then some days you wake up tryin to figure out how you can scoot by without doin a damn thing. you will not always wake up feeling motivated.

that is where discipline comes in.

truthfully, self-discipline is what gets me through the majority of my training. more often than not, i don’t feel motivated to train. i’m tired, i’m busy, i can’t focus, i get side-tracked etc. but i know the physical and mental satisfaction that awaits me is well worth the pain of discipline.

sometimes the hardest part is getting started. a little mind trick i use on myself on the days i’m feelin way too unmotivated or way too busy for a workout is to tell myself to go workout for just 15-20 minutes. and if i’m still not feelin it after that allotted time frame, i can at least say i tried and it’s just not happening today. 99% of the time, once i get movin, there’s no stoppin till i get done what i intended to get done.

start small. give yourself small, attainable goals. then work your way up. work to build discipline. motivation fades. discipline gets stronger the more you exercise it. and the more you exercise discipline, the stronger YOU get.

this program is compiled of one week worth of workouts using nothing but your own body. i have used these workouts over and over again while traveling or at home or when equipment is not readily available. training doesn’t have to stop just because you’re on vacation or just because you don’t have any equipment. this was created for those who wanna keep movin!

the sampler was designed to give you a taste without having to commit to a bigger program (full size bodyweight trainer coming soon) and to see if it’s a training style that works for you!
