Pescador Solitario Flyfishing Pescador Solitario – Your Guide to Fly Fishing the Remote Areas of the World! Pescador Solitario is Spanish for Solitary Angler and the name means everything.

We do not like crowds! I began saltwater fly-fishing and outfitting about twenty years ago and dedicated my time to finding the next great undiscovered fly-fishing destinations, like Texas, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Alaska & Tanzania. This has expanded well beyond saltwater, as you will read below. We believe that to create a life event, you have to create a life event situation. That is what we do for you in our fishing efforts.

I don't get to fish too often while in the Lower Laguna Madre, SPI TX. Mark took me a few hours fishing just before the weather got bad and I caught a couple of nice fish.
I just love to be out there and getting to feel the line tight. Until the next fall I will keep thinking about these two guys!

Closing out the Laguna Madre 2018 season. Here are a few fish photos from the last two weeks.

Tough weather caused some cancellations. Even in some challenging conditions a good number of fish were caught and released.

Thanks to all the clients that shared time with us in this awesome fishery. It a real treat having you all around.

We look forward to seeing you next season. About 1/2 of our slots are already booked for next year! We look forward to seeing you in the next fall!
