After many months of reflection, I have made the decision to explore possibilities of selling In Tune Yoga. In recent years, my life has brought significant changes that have led me to this decision, and it is important that I evaluate where my energy is being directed at this time. Becoming a mother again and being in school full-time have shifted my responsibilities and priorities in a way that maintaining studio operations on my own has become increasingly challenging.
Although I started In Tune Yoga simply because “I wanted to teach yoga”, and have enjoyed the journey very much, it is a business that requires the wearing of many hats and constant attention. While this was once a role I embraced, I am now in a new phase of life where I can no longer continue running the studio in the way that it deserves.
What I have learned through it all, is that besides teaching classes and seeing this community be created, I really love the admin work, bookkeeping, leadership duties, and the behind-the-scenes processes of managing a business. (You won’t hear a yoga teacher say they love admin work probably ever!). These are all reasons for why I will be going on to business school in the fall at UNM.
I am issuing an official announcement for the sale of the studio and I wanted to reach out to this community; those who know and love the studio. Please see details of the sale below. If you, or someone you know, has ever dreamed of owning a yoga studio, please reach out to discuss more details. Time is of the essence if one is interested.
For now and through the entirety of summer 2026, classes will stay running exactly as they are with no foreseeable changes to the schedule or staff. Any other significant changes will certainly be communicated.
Thank you for your continued loyalty of In Tune Yoga. It has been a joy to run this studio and lead you through classes and I would love to see it carried on. Please continue to support local businesses and especially small yoga studios. They are much needed in our world.
