CONGRATULATIONS to our 10u Tournament team for WINNING the 10u Halloween Bash in PA this weekend.

It was one amazing weekend as the team racked up 4 home runs and pitchers combining for a total of 40 strike outs!

TRYOUTS CANCELED! Maryland Monarchs tryouts for tonight are canceled. For those that pre registered check your emails for further guidance. Tryouts are still on for tomorrow and next Wednesday, July 20th. Reach out with any questions.

We will be holding walk-in registrations at the Taneytown Public Library this Thursday, January 20th at 5pm. This will be coinciding with our board meeting starting at 6pm.

Jerseys will be available for sizing. Come on out and say hi and register your daughter for Monarchs Spring Softball!

A sunny but COLD! Weekend to close out the Monarchs fall tournament schedule. Good luck to our 10U Monarchs playing in the CML tournament and 18U Monarchs playing in USSSA Beat The Snow!

Maryland Monarchs 18U is coming off a great two weeks. First, they won the MD State USSSA Fall "C" State Championships after Lilly Reiter hit a game tying 3 run home run in the bottom of the last inning. In ITB, solid defense made sure the game stayed tied going into our half of the inning when Morgan Kenney hit a walk off single to win it.

This past weekend, they won the Hot Shots Halloween Scream tournament. This was one of the best games I have personally ever watched. Going into the 7th inning and ITB the game was tied at 1-1. Again, solid defense got us out of the inning when Maryland Sting hit a rocket line drive to CF, which was caught by Kendall Jackman. She was able to complete the double play by getting the runner at 2nd. We were able to sacrifice our runner to 3rd when Gabby Gonzalez hit a walk off single to win the game.

I couldn't be more proud of these girls and fight they have had these past 2 weeks. In total they went 10-0 and won 2 tournaments. Great job ladies.

We will be revamping and bringing this page back to life so friends and family can follow along with team updates, etc. For those new we are happy to be growing on the tournament side. For the tournament year 2021-2022 we are fielding 3 teams.

Looking for a local tournament team? Look no further. Your Taneytown Monarchs will be fielding a 16U-B Tournament team playing in USSSA and PA Softball Tournaments this Fall and next Summer. If you're looking for another level and a great organization come to as many tryouts as you can!
