Tampa Bay fishing is heating up heading into fall.

Capt. Bucky with Bag'em Fishing Charters LLC is seeing strong action for redfish, snook, trout, and tarpon, with bigger bait showing up and water temperatures starting to cool. Redfish are beginning to school, while snook and tarpon are keeping anglers busy on light tackle.

Hubbard's Marina is seeing plenty of action around Madeira Beach and John’s Pass!

Red snapper remain the offshore highlight, with red grouper, mangrove snapper, blackfin tuna, triggerfish and even a few mahi showing up. Near shore, lane and mangrove snapper are biting well in deeper water.

🎣 Tampa Bay Fishing Report – August

Fishing is still strong in Tampa Bay! Redfish numbers are excellent, snook are biting around the mangroves, and tarpon, sharks, jacks, and ladyfish are keeping things exciting.

🍂 Fall is right around the corner, and September & October are some of the best months of the year for big redfish and mixed inshore action!
