Mike Mangiaracina "never is one so naked then before a golf ball"... Shivas Irons "golf in the Kingdom" Sharing a life time of knowledge about this great game we all play.

I was born when my father was playing the PGA Tour in the 1960's. He was often on the road and our famil, like many players families was traveling in a station wagon or RV from state to state. Dad's room mate and traveling companion in those days were Chi Chi Rodriguez, Chico Miartuz, to name a few. His coach was the legendary "wild" Bill Melhorn... By the time i was 6 we relocated from NY to Miam

i Beach when dad landed a director of golf job at the brand new Fountainbleau CC where any day you would run into "wild" BIll, dad, "Sal Monte", Movie stars, politicians, NFL players, famous money players such as Martin Stanovich, Bobby Riggs, Cowboy Joe Roach, and even Evil Kinieval...
People came from all over the country to get lessons or interviews from "wild" Bill. Every year during the Florida Swing, then it was Doral, Inverrary, And the Tallahassee Open, Dad would coach some of his friends that he played with during the sixties... I was fortunate to shag balls for Chi Chi, Seve Ballesterous and got to hit range balls with them during these weeks... Life was great if you loved golf as i did. Fountainbleau had two18 hole courses over 7,100 yds a real grass range and a huge putting green. Cleaning golf carts, setting up for outings, pick the range was hard work but i was paid not by money but lessons from , Wild" Bill, Dad, and all the golf you could stand... Everything I know about the golf swing and how to navigate around a golf course I learned from these two great me, and all the tournament experience, money games I could get my hands on from 6 yrs old right through college golf at FIU. I won't say my playing resume is what they expected thus far, but I did manage to play very well on every level including the professional level. When I talk about the golf swing I base it on naturalness and the laws of physics. I also like to explain cause and effect so students understand things better and need me less. So from,Golf trends to tour players or lesson tee lingo, let's enjoy this great game we call GOLF.
