Hey guys, this is Joe. As we wrap up the off-season and get ready to resume our league play, I feel like some recognition needs to be made.
It doesn't get said nearly enough, so I wanted to give a massive shout out to both Cherry, Jamie, and Demi for everything they do to keep us all skating!
Cherry opened his doors to us in 2019 when everyplace else closed them, and we have all appreciated some amazing times since! I cannot think of anyone or anyplace else that would provide the kind of hospitality that Cherry does, and for that and more I am eternally grateful.
Jamie stepped in as commissioner and has taken on the thankless task of structuring the league as we now know it, along with orchestrating the iron man and pickups that we do in between seasons. Constant juggling to fill rosters while dealing with changing commitments last second, not to mention having to navigate through everyone's roller coaster dispositions is a full time job with overtime for sure! Thank you for all you do!
Last but most definitely not least, huge thanks to Demi and his ref crew as well for dealing with the weekly sh*tshow, and continuing to come back the following week! Through experience on both sides of the equation, this in my opinion is the most under appreciated component of this program. Huge thanks for all you do!
