Team Pelfrey Team Pelfrey won the Team Championship in 2011, before doing the "double" in 2012 with Jack Hawksworth securing the driver's title.

Team Pelfrey, the 2011 rebirth of memorable IndyCar operation Team Pelfrey, ventured back into professional open-wheel racing with an important goal in mind: help and develop new talent. The Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires, as part of the Mazda Road to Indy ladder system, proves to be a perfect medium for owner Dale Pelfrey to showcase his latest foray into the world of profession

al motorsports and the business model is to not cut any corners in doing so. In 2014, Team Pelfrey added an F1600 Championship Series Team to the operation, providing young drivers with an excellent environment in which to begin their open wheel careers before progressing further up the Road to Indy ladder. Both teams continue to win races and battle for championships on all fronts.
