Tampa Bay Velocity is a community organization committed to the academic and athletic excellence of young women. Tampa Bay Velocity is a non profit, "A" level fast pitch softball organization for young women. Tampa Bay Velocity has quickly established itself as one of the premiere girls travel ball organizations in the country. Since being founded in 2000, Tampa Bay Velocity has drawn the attenti

on of many local schools. Our goal is to provide our girls with the opportunity to compete with the very best teams in the world. A great part of the future success of the Velocity organization will result from the talented and dedicated coaches that unselfishly devote countless volunteer hours to our girls. Each of our teams is responsible for establishing and financing their own budgets. Each coaching staff is responsible for 100% of their team’s finances. It takes a truly exceptional person to be a Tampa Bay Velocity coach. Mission Statement

Tampa Bay Velocity softball is committed to molding great young women and great athletes into champions, on the field, in the classroom and in the community. Our goal as a team and organization is to be the top travel ball organization both academically and athletically. In order to achieve these goals, we dedicate ourselves to hard work and discipline through four basic rules:

1. Be on time
3. Be aware that you ALWAYS represent Tampa Bay Velocty
4. Go hard or go home

We know that when we can take care of business in the classroom, we can take care of business on the field. The discipline we learn from our softball experience will extend into our daily lives, the work habits from the classroom will carry over to our business lives, and the success we achieve from our hard work and perseverance through adversity will teach life lessons that will extend beyond the diamond. "CONGRATS - VELOCITY GAMBINO" at the "USA Softball's Atlantic Coast Elite Tournament" in Virginia Beach. You are the very first and only Florida team to go to this event and WIN!! We turned a lot of heads at this event and sent a lot of teams from all over the country home. It is always nice to be one of the last teams still playing on Sunday. We were also the youngest team in this event with some of these teams being 3 years older than most of our players. We are very very proud of each of these young ladies for all of the hard work and months of preparation for this event. It paid off big, you are a very special team!!!

Great job "Velocity-Gambino" yesterday!! Only allowing 2 runs all day. Torres sisters combine for a great day of pitching with Kaycee Torres pitching the shutout and Annalyse Torres pitching 8 strikeouts in a row. Lets bring the Florida Championship home ladies!!!

Anna Burnside aka "Mighty Mouse" of Velocity Gambino makes the All Conference team for 2018. She was also the FCC State Championship Game "MVP", and the 2018 Grace Christian Best Offensive Player of the Year.
