August 15, 2016: 10 years ago today, we opened the doors to our new location, the place we proudly call home. And what an incredible 10 years it has been at the studio!
I’m beyond grateful for every single person we’ve had the privilege of teaching, learning from, and touching through dance. From countless workshops and dance socials to special events, celebrations, friendships, and memories, this studio has become so much more than a dance studio. It has become home to so many.
I’ll never forget opening day. My mom, Cristy, my daughters, my sister-in-law, my father-in-law, the TatoSalsa staff, and so many of our closest friends came together to help us get the studio ready. The turnout that day was absolutely amazing, it was memorable, overwhelming, and far beyond anything we could have imagined.
From the bottom of my heart, and from our entire family, THANK YOU.
Thank you to our amazing staff, for those who are with us today and those who have been part of our journey along the way. Thank you to our friends, partners, and all the incredible artists who have taught here and continue to share their talent, passion, and love of dance with our community.
And most importantly, THANK YOU to every single student who took a chance on us. Thank you for choosing TatoSalsa, for trusting us, for learning and growing with us, and for allowing us to be part of your dance journey. You are the reason we continue to do what we love.
And last, but certainly not least, thank you to the Man Upstairs, my Jesus. He has blessed us beyond measure over these past 10 years and continues to give us the opportunity to bring people together, create connections, and touch lives through the gift of dance.
Today, I look back with a heart full of gratitude, pride, and so much love for this community we’ve built together.
10 years. Thousands of memories. Countless friendships. One beautiful home.
