Finally, after a month of having this, I could finally post about it. Xan was kind enough to send me a set to test out before they are available to the public.
Those that have worked with me over the last month have been able to get their work in with the Anchor. Amazing feedback from the girls of all ages and experience (10u to College). They were mentioning how it’s multi-directional and resistance adjusted (3 levels). It allows catchers to have freedom to work. Easy to keep in your bag and easy to use at home or on the field.
Yes, you could use a J-Band. However, they are long and usually one resistance. I know there’s another tool that involves a belt, however belt is really only one dimensional. This tool has light, medium, heavy… easy to clip on a dumbbell/plate or fence.
It will be released on Tuesday so make sure you join Xan Barksdales (CATCHING-101) mailing list so you’ll be one of the first to purchase.
Always looking to increase the need for (Glove) Speed 🚗 Don’t wanna use it then keep doing your thing while we continue to keep pushing limits. I’m big on using constraints… everything has a purpose and could benefit the right catcher. Except rapid blocks… I question those daily 🫠😂🤷♀️☠️
