Aeropro fit service has a new home. We will announce our new partnership tomorrow. Our main man Vasilis will be handling a bulk of the fit services. He has been with us for 5 years and has become a very accomplished bike fitter. Roy will be enjoying his retirement but you will find him doing some fits each month on a limited basis.

March 18th, next Saturday from 12-4pm Aeropro will have an open house selling off some merchandise, bike parts and other various items. We are closing our West Tampa location at the end of the month. Most items 50% or more off, come get some great deals or just stop in for some free beer.

Join us this Sunday for a hill ride.

We have decided that our next San Antonio ride will be on Sunday February 19 [changed from previously mentioned date].

Let’s have everyone meet at the San Antonio Athletic Complex ready to ride at 7:55am. We will do our best to keep the ride under control. Speeds can range from 15mph uphill to 24 mph on the flats. We will keep two people up front to control the pace. Please know the route and have the ability to return to your car. We will stop for called out flats.

As an extra bonus on the corner of Hayman Rd and Spring Hill Rd (toward the end of the ride), we will release the hounds - for those who want to show off their watts. The group will break apart a bit at this point, so be sure to know the route or ride with someone who knows.

Here is a great article about stems. We get this type of question a lot during a fit. Some of us think that 120mm is the right stem as seen in the Pro peloton. Some others buy bikes that are too big and come in with a 70mm stem.

A stem that is too long will increase your reach and back angle. This can cause your saddle to feel slightly off, back pain, neck pain, etc. A stem that is too short will cause other issues like making your bike feel twitchy. There is such a thing as the perfect stem for your fit.
