2003: Kiddimoto was born after founder, Simon Booth, built a wooden prototype of a balance bike in his home in Somerset, England.
2004: Production began in earnest. The Superbike and Scrambler became the first bikes off the Kiddimoto production line.
2006: The first of a string of accolades came with the prestigious Hamleys ‘One of a Kind Toy of the Year’ award.
2009: Having outgrown our previo
us premises, Kiddimoto moved to a brand new location in a tiny village in the English countryside.
2011: Simon made an appearance on the BBC’s popular Dragons’ Den program. After a gruelling interrogation, he left with investment offers from two Dragons!
2013: With business booming, our warehouse was expanded, in order to keep up with demand from the UK and abroad.
2015: Kiddimoto won its most prestigious honor yet - the Queen’s Award for International Trade.
2017: Kiddimoto USA was born. Simon connected with Lynda, who had just moved from his village in England to Florida, USA. Together they hatched a plan to introduce the USA to Kiddimoto’s balance bikes, ride-ons and accessories.
