Man! Thank you to that parent that spent all of Monday's class time weeding the front of the dojo. With the exception of some flower pots needing to be "re-flower-powered," it looks like a proper dojo again! LOL Well Done & Thank You!

We'd like to make a special announcement that our very own Sensei Julie Tollen has been recognized and promoted to the rank of 4th Degree black belt (yondan) by the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba and the World Aikikai headquarters. Of course, we know how much work she puts into keeping our dojo a successful and strong community, and how amazing and caring of an instructor she is. But this rank also recognizes her unique and relentless support of Saotome Sensei, the Aiki Shrine, and our national organization as well. Julie is the "heart" of Chuseikan, and we are both proud and excited to see her recognized for her accomplishments.

Please help us demonstrate how much we appreciate her!
