Eccentric pull ups are a great way to increase the amount of pull ups you can do, improve pull up technique as well as grip strength. The focus is on the negative (eccentric) phase of a pull up. The goal is to go down from the top position as slowly as possible. At the bottom of each rep you can jump back up into the top position or use a box to get back up.
