Congratulations to A3 Premier RHP Bryan Alonso on his commitment to play Division I baseball at FIU!

Bryan was the ace of A3’s Premier pitching staff this past season before suffering a season-ending oblique injury during his complete-game shutout of TNXL. Despite the injury, Bryan finished with a dominant 0.60 ERA to lead the ABA Conference, striking out 48 while walking just 10 over 33 innings.

Armed with a five-pitch mix and an elite changeup that falls off the table, Bryan consistently generated swings and misses against some of the highest-level hitters in the country.

Bryan was originally committed to HCC, but FIU’s new coaching staff was searching for another impact arm and reached out to A3 about it’s players. The rest is history.

We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to watch you compete at the Division I level.

Bryan, go be great!

Congratulations to A3 Academy rising senior Leo Reina on his commitment to Florida Gulf Coast University!

Leo was the ace of A3’s Prospect pitching staff last season, earning ABA Prospect Division Pitcher of the Year honors after establishing himself as the top pitcher in the conference. He was also one of the league’s premier two-way players, starring on the mound, in the outfield, and hitting in the cleanup spot. Time and time again, Leo delivered in the biggest moments.

The left-hander has run his fastball up to 90 mph, and his work ethic is second to none. When he’s not training himself, he’s often helping develop younger pitchers alongside Jose Pupo at Elite Fuego. Leo is a true baseball rat and gym rat who is constantly looking for ways to improve.

Just as impressive is what he has accomplished in the classroom. An outstanding student, Leo had the academic credentials to attend many exceptional universities, but chose to stay home in Florida and pursue his dream of playing Division I baseball at Florida Gulf Coast.

Leo is one of the highest-character young men you will ever meet. We are incredibly proud of everything he has accomplished, both academically and athletically, and we know his best baseball is still ahead of him.

Congratulations, Leo! We can’t wait to watch you lead A3 this season before continuing your career with the Eagles.

Congratulations to A3 rising 8th grader Lucas Diaz on his selection to the Perfect Game Festival!

The Perfect Game Festival is essentially Perfect Game’s All-American Game, featuring what they believe are the top 42 eighth-grade players in the country.

While it’s important for players like Lucas to understand the pressure, expectations, and potential pitfalls that come with being recognized at such a young age, it’s also an incredible honor to be regarded so highly.

Getting to the top of the mountain is difficult. Staying there is even harder.

We hope you enjoy this experience, make lifelong memories with your family, and soak in the opportunity at Lindsey Nelson Stadium and the University of Tennessee.

Then it’s back to work.

We’re excited to have you back at A3 on Monday, August 17, ready to keep developing, keep improving, and keep earning everything that comes next.

Lucas, we’re proud of you. Enjoy every minute of it!

Congratulations to A3 Academy alum Jose Lopez on his transfer to the University of Miami! 🙌🟠🟢

Jose was a standout on A3’s Premier team during the 2025 season before choosing to begin his college career at Grand Canyon University. Rather than chasing the biggest name right away, he chose a program where he could earn meaningful playing time as a freshman, continue to develop, and prove himself.

That decision paid off.

After a strong freshman season, Jose has earned the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream by returning home to play for the University of Miami in the ACC.

His journey is another reminder that the best path isn’t always the most direct one. Finding the right fit, getting on the field early, and producing at a high level can open the door to Power 4 opportunities.

Jose has electric bat speed, elite raw power, and the ability to change a game with one swing. We believe he has the potential to develop into a 15–20 home run hitter at the Division I level.

We couldn’t be more proud of Jose, his work ethic, his patience, and the way he trusted the process.

Congratulations, Jose! The next chapter starts now. 🙌

Congratulations to A3 Alum Andrew Duncan on being drafted for the 2nd time in his young career! Drew was drafted straight out of A3 in HS and now again in college.

Andrew also got married this month and will now make the difficult decision to go to professional baseball or the University of Tennessee.

These are great problems to have, Drew! We are very proud of you!
