Foam Fighting Club at USF

Welcome to the Foam Fighting Club!

Here, we practice historical martial arts using foam weaponry. That being said, fighting isn't required to participate. In fact, we highly encourage people interested in arts and crafts to join us even if they aren't interested in the fighting aspect of the sport.

This year especially, we plan to have craft days and we hope to introduce everyone to other members of the community. If you don't have gear, just let us know and you can learn to craft your own garb and gear! If you’d rather just fight, we have plenty of swords and shields we can loan to everyone. Don’t miss out on community battles and events by following us on our Instagram, page, and Discord.

Local Community Events and Practices will be held at Mort Park from 4 PM to 7 PM on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Hey all you foam nerds!
We've made it, congrats on finishing the semester! Despite online classes, the omnipotent threat of Covid-19 and Glen hunting kidney's for fun, we have all survived another year here! Thank you for your time, support and dedication to the club. We know the whacks have been scarce, but we'll just have to go extra hard next semester! Until then, stay safe, and, if you must go out, bring a 6ft glaive to help maintain your social distancing!

Due to the complicated situation of Corona Virus, USF has officially cancelled all student organization’s activities until further notice. We will NOT hold any official practices from now until USF announcement otherwise.
However, we will still post the status of practice at regular schedule to update you.

Since the weather is beautiful, all of the leaderships are wearing full garb to practice. Anyone who has garb is more than welcome to wear them to practice today!
