Simple. It’s fine to say things, say what you want, know who you are. But then be that person, live that life.

A tough (“bad” - but I don’t like that word) day is still a productive day if you choose to let it be.
The longer you chase a goal, the higher you climb the more days are going to feel like tough days. Not your best, not as sharp as you’d like it, not as strong as you’d hoped it would be. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a productive training day (or competition)
Maybe it’s a learning day, showing you something you’re lacking in, presenting an opportunity to embrace a weakness and commit to working on it
Maybe it’s a day to work on controlling your responses to your emotions, emotions are always ok, our responses to them aren’t always.
Maybe it’s a day to step back and learn, your body might not be on point but your mind could be, work on technique, mobility, learning in sport isn’t always physical effort.
More days than not are not going to be ring the bell PR days. But everyday will teach out something if you let it, and you’ll be better off when the good ones comes because of it. Embrace tough days, mistakes, and failure until they don’t scare you anymore.
